Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Najm collects, uses, and protects your data when you use the service at najm.live or any official application connected to it. By using the service you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy.

1. Who we are

Najm is an AI-powered application offering chat with large language models, image generation, text-to-speech, custom voice creation, creative tools, and a community articles board. For privacy questions, contact us at support@najm.live.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and unique Google ID. We never see or store your Google password.
• Content you create: chats, custom voices, articles, tasks, files, preferences, and notifications generated inside the app are stored in your account on Firebase Firestore and Storage.
• Operational data: visit counts, device type and OS, language, your Firebase Cloud Messaging token (only if you enable notifications), and technical error logs needed to keep the service stable.

3. How we use the data

• To run the features you request (AI, media generation, content storage).
• To deliver in-app notifications when you've enabled them.
• To detect abuse and protect account and service security.
• To improve response quality and features in aggregated, non-identifying form.

4. Service providers

We rely on trusted providers for the technical infrastructure:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging, Hosting, Cloud Functions.
• Google Gemini API — for processing AI requests. The text you type (without additional personal data) is sent to generate responses.

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertising parties.

5. Storage and retention

Your content is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. Content is retained as long as your account remains active and is deleted when you delete your account or manually remove items from the Settings screen. The infrastructure provider retains short-term encrypted backups for disaster recovery purposes.

6. Your rights

• View your data from the Settings screen.
• Export your chats and articles in text formats.
• Delete individual items or delete your entire account.
• Contact us to obtain a full copy of your data or to correct it.

7. Children

The service is intended for users aged 13 and above. If we learn of an account belonging to a child below that age, we will close the account and delete its data.

8. Data security

We use standard Firebase security measures, including Firestore and Storage rules that restrict each user's access to their own data, Google authentication, and TLS-encrypted transit. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we follow modern industry standards.

9. Cookies

The site uses local storage (localStorage) to save preferences such as your interface language. Google also sets cookies necessary to complete sign-in. We do not use cookies for advertising tracking.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish changes here and notify you inside the app if a change is material.
